So what time tomorrow will Trump announce he is giving a Presidential medal to the refs in Rams-Saints 2019 NFC championship who kept Drew Brees from another Super Bowl?

Yesterday Amy Klobuchar tweeted about upgraded charges for Chauvin & charges for 3 other officers for George Floyd’s death. Tweet was 7 min after Star-Tribune broke story. And some on left/MSNBC attacking her for stealing Keith Ellison’s thunder? WTF?  And why we can’t have nice things.

Thinking with all the focus on George Floyd now, you got to be a special kind of bad (and stupid) cop to commit crimes against protesters on video when it’s the lead story on every news channel and newscast.

More than 60 Missouri football players  marched and then registered to vote Wednesday as part of the team’s call to action following the death of George Floyd while in police custody.

If others in SEC followed them I might take back a few of the negative things I regularly say about the conference.

Your reminder, for all the petty things Trump found to rant about on Twitter Wednesday,  including the continual lie that DC police didn’t use tear gas,  Donald couldn’t find time to acknowledge that the other three officers involved in George Floyd’s murder have been arrested.

The SF 49ers have joined “Blackout Tuesday” on Instagram by posting a black square for Black Lives Matter.  If only the team had had a chance to make a meaningful statement with one of their own players….

Asked about Trump, Mitch McConnell “I’m not going to critique other people’s performances.” To be fair, this is like asking the Baltimore Orioles what they think about the Miami Marlins.

Marquette University rescinded admission and a lacrosse scholarship for a young woman after she wrote a social media racist post comparing athletes kneeling to the the police officer kneeling to murder George Floyd.

As awful as the sentiment is, in this day and age, did they also rescind her admission for stupidity?

153 days until November 3, 2020 Today is a milestone though….. it’s 154 days since January 1, 2020. So we are officially more than halfway from New Year’s Day to the Presidential Election. Which makes me strangely happy.

After the team led by closer Sean Doolittle said  said they would make up the $100 a week difference personally, the Washington Nationals, owned by billionaire Ted Lerner, told minor leaguers on  they will receive their full weekly stipends of $400 through June.

If only shaming of rich white men would work so well in Congress.
