NBA commissioner Adam Silver said due to COVID-19  older NBA head coaches may not be able to be on the bench when the league starts playing again July 31 at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Now, the Atlanta Hawks won’t make even the limited postseason, so at least that eliminates league having to make a tough decision about Vince Carter.

But since Spurs are into play-in round at least might this mean Gregg Popovich will make Becky Hammon first NBA woman head coach?

Would be funny if we lived in funnier times. Seems like a lot of reaction to Drew Brees’ apology for incredibly insensitive comments on kneeling is “nah drew,”- not enough, too late. Then MAGA community mad that he apologized at all because they liked original awful statement. Brees own fault for starting this. But can’t win.

Yesterday Amy Klobuchar tweeted about upgraded charges for Chauvin & charges for 3 other officers for George Floyd’s death. Tweet was 7 min after Star-Tribune broke story. And some on left/MSNBC attacking her for stealing Keith Ellison’s thunder? WTF?  And why we can’t have nice things.

Thinking with all the focus on George Floyd now, you got to be a special kind of bad (and stupid) cop to commit crimes against protesters on video when it’s the lead story on every news channel and newscast.
