Freshman QB Ricky Town. who had verbally committed to Alabama but decided to go to USC after the Trojans hired Steve Sarkisian, is transferring to another school. Apparently ,while highly touted, Town didn’t turn out to be the best freshman QB in spring camp.
So Karma is either a Crimson Tide fan, or just in mean bitch mode.

The Cubs lost today. But before the game Chicago manager Joe Maddon said he wasn’t changing his socks during the team’s 9 game win streak. Maybe the superstition helped. But at least it probably assured Maddon had a row to himself on the team plane

Mike Huckabee says he supports Paraguay’s decision to deny a 10 year old rape victim an abortion. “Let’s not compound a tragedy by taking yet another life.” And of course that poor girl should have government assistance and health care including mental health care so her own life isn’t ruined…. Oh wait, government dependency should end at birth.
I believe the British have the correct term here – “f*ckwit.”

Regarding Huckabee: a former Arkansas inmate, Maurice Clemmons, entered the Forza coffee shop, fired at the 4 police officers as they sat working on their laptop computers preparing for their shifts, and then fled the scene. All 4 officers died.
Clemmons had a violent criminal history, with at least five felony convictions in Arkansas and eight felony charges in Washington. In 2000, Clemmons had his 95-year sentence for aggravated robbery commuted by then-Governor Mike Huckabee and moved to Western Washington in 2004.
In his book about the shooting, The Other Side of Mercy, Jonathan Martin of The Seattle Times wrote that Huckabee apparently failed to review Clemmons’ prison file, which was “thick with acts of violence and absent indications of rehabilitation.” Martin also suggested that Huckabee failed to ensure Clemmons’ post-release plan was “solid, or even factual.”
Huckabee blamed the Arkansas parole board and the state of Washington for the tragic events. He certainly had nothing to do with it! Huckabee is always the joke of the day!

Gary M. thanks, wow i remember the story vaguely but not the details being that bad, why did Huckabee commute his sentence, some friend of a friend deal?
