As the gambling case of former Cleveland Guardians closer Emmanuel Clase’s trial is set to start in November, apparently federal prosecutors are focusing on 18 allegedly rigged pitches, including one from a 2024 playoff game.

Yes, the Los Angeles Dodgers are a good baseball team, with the top payroll in MLB

The Dodgers, Braves (#9 in payroll), & Brewers (#19) will all win their NL division.

But to put the discrepancy in perspective, LA’s payroll is more than Milwaukee and Atlanta’s put together.

Leaving Jung Hoo Lee as the only starter from opening day in the SF Giants lineup. And there is now talk of shutting Logan Webb down too.

Understand that the Giants are fielding a AAA team at this point. Might be nice if they reduced some concessions to AAA prices?

Not been a 49ers fan for decades. OTOH, since the Rams stole the January 20, 2010 NFC Championship game with that missed no-call PI…. , today’s/tomorrow’s game was kind of fun.
