Courage

July 15, 2026

Hope SF Giants pitchers who wrote bible verses on their caps on Pride night watched Jarron Collins’ beautiful tribute to his brother Jason who posthumously won the Arthur Ashe ESPY Courage award.

Don’t really know soccer but England’s play late in the second half against Argentina in the World Cup semifinal looked reminiscent of a NFL prevent defense.

And I’m not the only person who thinks “prevent defenses prevent you winning.”

One more day of the All-Star Break. Which means SF Giants fans are guaranteed not to be disappointed by the team for another day.

Apparently Trump administration has put original copies of the Emancipation Proclamation and 13th Amendment to an exhibit at the Lincoln memorial that is not temporatured/light controled, which is exposing the rare documents to harsh light and heat.

How long until the administration says the documents have been lost or destroyed?

Meanwhile on the opposite of courage.

It’s not enough that Donald’s nominees now have to praise him. They now have to parrot every single lie he says.

Lately it’s the 2020 election, which he will never get over losing.

But I’d love to see a nominee just asked if he thinks the President is 6’3 and 238 pounds.

He’s back to the “most people don’t know Dumb has a B in it..

Something that most people do know has a B “Brain” Something that has largely stopped working with Trump

Since the Reflecting Pool is a story again.

A reminder to those who are either misinformed or spending lies about “vandals.”

The pool has had a 24-7 Earthcam on it for decades.

On top of everything else, vandals would have had to be invisible

Buried in a Fox News story about the SAVE Act:

“But Center for Election Innovation & Research, a nonprofit election policy group that describes itself as nonpartisan, has found voter registration of noncitizens is rare.
“When investigations do turn up rare instances of improper registration or voting, officials take swift action to ensure that American elections remain secure.”

Hoping their readers don’t read.

Todd Blanche on Trump

“I’m his lawyer, was his lawyer.”

He was right the first time.

Trump has endorsed Mike Lindell for Minnesota Governor against Amy Klobuchar.

Come on Minnesota voters. Tell Donald and Lindell to put a Pillow in it.

New world order.

Good week for the World Cup to pick up new US fans with MLB, NFL and NBA all off this week

Except the games in US are at 12n to 3p on a weekday

(Good for fans in Europe, who can stay up. Rough for many in North America who works and wants to watch the games…

Almost as if FIFA doesn’t care..

(Or maybe they wanted to get the semi finals in before Donald’s nap time?)

Has Donald said he would have won the Home Run Derby yet?

Tuned in to watch the MLB All-Star game and watched the entire NL team do a great impersonation of the SF Giants offense we fans have endured much of the year…

As a Wemby fan was kind of rooting for France today

(Though prefer England to win it all..)

But given how much Trump hates Spain the possibility of him boycotting the trophy ceremony at least is attractive.

It took Mike Johnson 50 days (!) to swear in Arizona Democrat Adelita Grijalva after she won her special election in 2025.

GOP swore in Lindsey Graham’s sister as a Senator about 60 hours (!) after he died.

As unqualified as Lindsey Graham’s sister is to be in the Senate, she’s not nearly the most unqualified person in that chamber.

Paging Coach Tubby?

Has a single social media troll using the mantra “just obey police officers and you won’t be shot,” also justified the shooting of Ashli Babbitt?

I’ll wait.

A tube of Krazy Glue was spotted on Trump’s Oval Office desk today.

So is this what they use to keep him from falling out of his chair?

Trump today in DC just praised “The president of General Motors—Mark Reuss. Great company, hot company. We just ordered a lot of Escalades for security purposes and we do a lot of business with General Electric.”

So he’s confused General Motors with General Electric? Amazed Donald didn’t refer to their President as General Robert E Lee.

How much is it killing Trump that as controversial and maddening that Lindsey Graham could be at times, it’s pretty clear that his Senate colleagues, even many Democrats, really LIKED and will mourn him?

Apparently Trump says US latest attacks “knocked out’ Iran’s missile sites tonight.

So just how many times can you completely decimate an opponent’s military?

And how much did THIS latest mission cost?…

A reminder, under ” Sleepy Joe” we could go to sleep at night without worrying about waking up to “WTF did POTUS do now?
