Sen. Alex Padilla made it to Senate Judiciary Committee, about 6 1/2 hours late after his redeye flight was delayed due to weather & medical emergency for another passenger. He had taken the last flight of the night from Los Angeles.

Now, it worked out and he was able to vote for send Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination out of committee. But travel agent PSA – if CRITICAL you be somewhere for wedding, meeting, SCOTUS confirmation…., consider flying in day before.
