The day after

June 3, 2026

We are now about 24 hours after the polls closed in California.

Which means we’re about 2 weeks from ballots all being counted.

And of course Trump is pretending it is some sort of conspiracy. Ironic since he’s still trying to recount votes from 2020.

So go figure.

A guy named Victor somehow won a game for his team tonight.

And it wasn’t Wemby.

Victor Bericoto for the SF Giants with his first MLB home run in a 1-0 win against the Brewers.

Can media stop pretending it’s a big deal Spencer Pratt got about 30% of vote for Los Angeles mayor?

Heck, Steve Garvey, whose experience was simply being good at baseball (and who got two women pregnant while he was engaged to a third received 41% of the vote vs now Senator Adam Schiff.

Wait, I thought Trump says Kaitlin Collins never smiles. “

“I never see a smile on her face. I see her standing there with hatred in her eyes.”

So we shouldn’t share this picture, it would upset Donald.

We shouldn’t share this picture, it will upset him.

Oops.

Marco Rubio claims that Trump never falls asleep and by way of defense says Donald has called him at 2 a.m. and 5 a.m.
Not the flex he thinks it is: dementia patients often can’t sleep through the night and then can’t stay awake during the day.

60 Minutes deserves a better home. MSNow? PBS? Netflix? Who wants to start the bidding war. Oh, and f*ck CBS.

Amy Klobuchar speaking on the 40th anniversary of C-Span 2, notes that the presiding officer on June 2, 1986, their inaugural broadcast, was Senator Chuck Grassley-

(And he’d already been a Senator for five years.)

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to Senator Maggie Hassan today

“Except for inflation, the economic data is very strong.”

Except for that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the play?

Donald had a closed to press dinner in what he calls “The Rose Garden Club.”

It’s a small detail in the grand scheme of things.

But it is NOT the bleeping “Rose Garden Club”

It is the “Rose Garden.”

In the American people’s White House. Not Velveeta Voldemort’s Club.

Will take probably serious two weeks for final results but Matt Mahan and Katie Porter both have conceded in the California Gubernatorial Primary.

They could have given those speeches last week… Or last month.

I’m trying to imagine what the $200 million Tom Steyer spent in the California primary could have done and could do in swing districts and purple states across the country.

If Tom were only able to put aside his ego to let others lead and be elected.

Hasan Piker made a last minute endorsement for Tom Steyer

If anyone needed another reason to vote for Xavier Becerra.

Steyer’s cost for funding his campaign is probably going to be record breaking.

But there’s also $35 million spent by Matt Mahan campaign for about 210,000 votes.

Even if Mahan gets up to about 250,000 that’s about $120 a vote.

And his campaign spent less per vote than Steyer.
