Redefining testing.
Houston Texans had two players test positive today and it was just for PEDs. Seems so quaint.

Now NFL has postponed Ravens Steelers until Wednesday night, and both teams’ next game, against Dallas & Washington Dallas until next Monday. This season is turning into a weird mix of Musical Chairs and Survivor.

Trump loves to talk about his 74 million votes.
I may have forgotten my high school trigonometry. But I am 100% positive that 80,000,000 is a bigger number than 74,000,000.

Let’s try this election with a sports metaphor since understanding sports isn’t supposed to be partisan:
On 12/8/19, the New Orleans Saints scored 46 points, their highest total of the year.
Except 49ers scored 48 points. Big numbers do not matter if your opponent has a bigger number.

-Yes Mitch McConnell really said today in a floor speech that the Senate has the need to confirm additional Trump nominees, “especially on the federal bench.” Satire is deader than Herman Cain.

Molly Ivins would have written a great column on the idiocy of GOP and MAGAs being against a mask mandate.
This will do pretty well from 1995. “It’s all very well to run around saying regulation is bad, get the government off our backs, etc. Of course our lives are regulated. When you come to a stop sign, you stop; if you want to go fishing, you get a license; if you want to shoot ducks, you can shoot only three ducks. The alternative is dead bodies at the intersection, no fish, and no ducks. OK?”

More GOP senators are complaining about Joe Biden’s OMB pick Neera Tanden than are acknowledging Biden won the election.

So how long will it take to detox the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Phoenix after Rudy Giuliani’s event today?

Now Velveeta Voldemort is asking for yet another recount in Georgia. Maybe if he had studied enough not to need someone to take his SATs for him, Donald might realize the answer doesn’t change when you redo math problems.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis reacts to state’s COVID surge not just with no new health regulations but also by banning cities even from simple things like mask mandates. Why is it the most theoretically “pro-life” politicians who seem so hell bent on killing people?

Melania Trump today unveiled White House Christmas decorations. I suppose it would be churlish to say “Who the f*ck cares?
–
As Secretary of State Brian Kemp suppressed black vote to win the Gubernatorial race against Stacey Abrams. Today, he’s pushing back on Trump and saying “Georgia law prohibits the Governor from interfering in elections.” Nice to see Kemp has integrity when his own seat isn’t concerned.

Fox News just reported Donald Trump’s pet COVID-19 “doctor,” Scott Atlas has resigned. Did Atlas do so now so Donald can preemptively pardon him on manslaughter charges?
Seriously, part of the Hippocratic Oath: “I will prevent disease whenever I can, for prevention is preferable to cure.” So now that Scott Atlas has resigned from the COVID-19 task force, when can we revoke his medical license?
–
There is no way Scott Atlas resigned but for any other reason than to try to save himself and what’s left of his reputation. And still think he might be worried about legal problems from his tenure. Hoping even Hoover Foundation has changed the locks on him.

Over 90,000 Americans now hospitalized with COVID-19. To put that in perspective 90,000 is more people than Joe Biden won Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, and Wisconsin by cumulatively.

We know now that Hillary Clinton was right about everything that Donald would do as President. And that Mary Trump was right about everything Donald would do if he lost. Why don’t we listen to women?
