Thinking the season for SF Giants fans has now been reduced to being happy when the Dodgers and Yankees lose.

Hah, true story: 1992 when Giants thinking of moving to Tampa & Padres were in town. Tony Gwynn was signing autographs before game, even for a lot of SF fans gathered around the San Diego dugout.. While Tony signed for my son, told him some of us might become Padres fans if Giants abandoned us.

But relatively few good decisions are made after midnight… And Republicans are trying to create a bill, on the fly, now at about 330a in Washington DC that would change the direction of our country for years.

Boston Red Sox scored 13 runs Monday night, after scoring 15 runs on Saturday. Meanwhile Rafael Devers was 0-4 and SF Giants have scored 7 runs in last 4 games. Maybe Giants should have traded for Red Sox hitting coach?

There are other GOP Senators who know Amy Klobuchar is correct; it’s a Big Beautiful Betrayal. They could follow Tillis. Or announce intention to resign. They’d sleep better, get well-paying job if they want, or write book that would sell much better than Jake Tapper’s

Random unimportant thought, the league MIGHT be spacing NBA finals games too far apart when many fans have to wonder, so how many days until the next game?

As SF Giants lose their seven game streak, and the game by allowing the Rockies to score three in the y bottom of the ninth, a reminder that nothing is certain but death, taxes, and you can’t give up walks and make errors at Coors Field.

Last year Republicans won 31-11.

So a sign that the comeback is beginning?

Idea that we need to get people off Medicaid & into jobs offering insurance is particularly cruel/out of touch. 1. Gig economy jobs don’t offer insurance, Uber, Doordash, etc.

2. Many BIG companies carefully schedule hourly employees to keep them under minimum hours for benefits.

High-profile ICE raids are overwhelmingly in blue states, or blue cities (Omaha) in red states. If Trump & Miller want to deport as many as planned, however, they’re need to start going after immigrants in rural areas & red states… Trump voters about to get big dose of FAFO.

And I missed the stories about all the Trump supporters having their car wash and meat packing plant jobs taken by immigrants.. (Meat packing jobs in Nebraska from what I can see pay about $15 an hour. Thats about $30,000 a year….average cost for childcae for an infant is about $14,000 a year. Just saying.)

Serious travel point – As Trump travel ban 2.0 takes affect, how long until other countries start retaliating against US tourists? And anyone when vaccine cards were required for some countries? With RFK Jr, at HHS, won’t be long until civilized countries start demanding them again for Americans.
