WNBA ratings wtthout Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese have been lower for the semi-final playoff rounds than the first round with Clark,, though the NY Liberty and the LV Aces’ first game had more viewers than any of last season’s finals games

Hoping people keep tuning in. There are some seriously impressive women still playing

(And playing more of a team game than many if not most NBA teams.)

Mets -Brewers game for a while was a painful reminder of the season for SF Giants fans because no team could get a hit with RISP. Then Brewers took 2-0 lead (from back to back home runs) in the 7th into the 9th, and SFGiants fans got flashbacks to Camilo Doval.

Mets have the highest payroll in MLB (with the help of Ohtani’s creative math in Los Angeles.)

Dodgers and Phillies are 4th and 5th in the top five (others are Astros & Yankees.) Padres are 15th.

Meanwhile in AL, other than NY, remaining playoff teams are Royals, 20th, Guardians, 23rd, Tigers 26th.

Four wild card series in Major League Baseball, three of them ended up in sweeps.

So baseball fans go from four games a day, to one game Thursday, and nothing Friday until the ALDS and NLDS start Saturday.
