Fortunately for Stanford, the Crown Basketball Tournament is not nationally televised.

(Yeah, I know the “Crown Basketball Tournament,” I hadn’t heard of it either.)

But Stanford was up with 3 with 9 seconds to go, missed a game clinching field goal, and then while trying to foul to avoid a game-tying 3 pointer, managed to foul a West Virgina player heaving the ball from half court. He then hit all three fouls and the Mountaineers won in OT.

But yeah, Cayden Boozer’s bad pass almost looks good by comparison)

Not a good night for Los Angeles NBA Teams. Lakers lost by over 40 to the Thunder, and lost Luka to a hamstring injury. Then the Clippers faced the Spurs with Wemby resting, and lost by 20.

Might almost make you feel sorry for Los Angeles sports fans. Except… the Dodgers.

CBS News first reported Pete Hegseth has asked highest-ranking (& much decorated) US Army officer, General Randy George, to resign immediately amid the Iran war.

Because nothing is so confidence boosting as changing leadership in the middle of a war you say you’ve won.

Only reason for Pete Hegseth to fire top generals in middle of a war is that they refused to follow orders.

Only reason well-respected generals would refuse to follow DOD Secretary’s orders was that those orders were insane.

Americans are going to die for Pete & Donald’s egos.

Let’s see, give up safe seat in US Senate to accept a job that if confirmed will destroy your reputation & you’ll still end up thrown under bus.

Democrats could pay a million dollars to a consultant and not come up with a line for a campaign ad as good as that.

One of the worst things about Stanford being in the ACC. When the Cardinal is at home and upsets a top conference team, like UNC Wednesday night, most East Coast fans (& media) are already asleep

Was looking at Stanford’s men’s basketball schedule and noticed most of the players had declared college majors.

In the days of transfer portals and NIL’s seems so… quaint.

Pam Bondi said tonight that she just fired the six Minneapolis prosecutors who quit yesterday.

When Trump fires her will Pam Bondi say later that SHE quit?

To anyone saying shooting of Renee Good was justified. Videos I have seen don’t indicate that to me. But okay, isn’t this what investigations are for? If DOJ truly believes officer was in the right, they should have no problem w/ full investigation & trial, working with Minnesota law enforcement.

Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry is trying to extradite a California doctor for mailing abortion pills.

California Governor Newsom denied him.

Landry “Louisiana has a zero tolerance policy for those who subvert our laws, seek to hurt women, and promote abortion. I know Gavin Newsom supports abortion in all its forms, but that doesn’t work in Louisiana. We are unapologetically pro-life.:

Meanwhile, now that he’s caused every Planned Parenthood in the state to close, Jeff Landry has no problem of women being hurt or even dying from a lack of prenatal care or even basic healthcare including mammograms.

Orbin Mauricio Hernandez Serrano, who videos showed beaten unconscious by ICE Sunday at St Paul gas station, is apparently alive (now) & being detained in El Paso. His sister said he just moved to MN from Texas. Sadly had he stayed in red state ICE probably would’ve ignored him.

On 10th anniversary of Citizens United, Senators Mark Kelly, Sheldon Whitehouse, Amy Klobuchar & Cory Booker, among others, spoke on Senate Floor about campaign finance reform. You know who didn’t speak against unlimited money in politics? Every single Senate Republican.

In case anyone has forgotten December 19 was the deadline to release the Epstein Files.
