On and off the field games.

November 15, 2025

Congrats to Oklahoma for upsetting Alabama.

Let the “SEC deserves a two or even three-loss teams in the College Football Playoffs” talk begin..

Meanwhile, in College Station, Texas, a white trooper who pointed at and scolded black South Carolina players after a Gamecocks touchdown in the tunnel.

Per Texas A&M police “We are aware of the incident in the NE tunnel involving a DPS trooper. He has been relieved of his game day assignment..

Today federal agents in Charlotte broke the truck window of a Honduran-born US Citizen during an “immigration enforcement operation. And they briefly detained him. Being brown is now probable cause.

Trump cut Switzerland’s tariffs after Rolex’s CEO gave him a priceless gold clock.

At 79 many if not most people are downsizing, giving things away as they realize they won’t be around forever. Yet with Donald his greed for shiny glittery things just keeps growing exponentially…

John Fetterman had a bad fall but recovered and has been sent home. He has a pacemaker and debrillator implanted. After he was hospitalized, Mr. Fetterman was found to have “a ventricular fibrillation flare-up.

Am glad the Senator got good medical care. Now hoping he please remembers. how many millions of Americans are about to lose medical care due to GOP taking away ACA subsidies. And that he is a DEMOCRAT who should be fighting for those Americans.

ACA became law in 2010. 15 years ago. So many adults. not just adults 26 & under, who’d otherwise have aged off parents’ insurance, have no memories of time when pre-existing conditions made you uninsurable at any price. Obamacare isn’t perfect. but it’s better than nothing.

So is Trump going to invade Greenland to distract from the Epstein files?

As Velveeta Voldemort seems increasingly to enjoy blowing up people on little boats, how long until he accidentally targets some Caribbean cruise shore excursion?

Politics aside, Trump administration is always Americans last. “White House Scraps Cash Payments for Delayed or Canceled Flights A Biden-era rule, now halted, would have forced airlines to pay passengers up to $775 in cash for significant flight disruptions.”

So for those of us with MAGA friends/relatives: A question for them… How can the Epstein files both be a “hoax” and something Donald demands the DOJ probe to investigate Democrats?

Should be a bigger story that Donald Trump talks like JP Morgan, Chase, are human. Worse than that, he separates them into two people. He thinks JP Morgan is still alive, and Chase is a person too…

So Trump is eliminating some of the tariffs HE instituted on food products to make them more affordable. Even though he lied and said Americans wouldn’t pay those tariffs. Donald is committing economic Munchausen by proxy on consumers

Or to make it simpler, Trump removing a few of the tariffs he himself imposed is like an arsonist returning to the scene of the fire he set with a bucket of water.

Dangerous games?

Headline: “Trump Booed At Yet Another Sporting Event While Attending Commanders Game” No punchline, i just like sharing it.

Donald Trump may have done the impossible. Become more unpopular with Washington football fans than Dan Snyder.

The good news for the Commanders. Booing Trump gave fans something to do besides booing the team, who at 3-7 are now in the running for a top three, certainly top five draft pick.

On top of everything else, increasing number of NFL games on cable & streaming channels mean cash-strapped American worried about SNAP/health insurance/higher prices can’t even watch their favorite teams for free.

While Donald flew on Air Force One to attend an NFL game in a luxury suite.

Not the Onion Per ESPN “Sources: Trump wants Commanders’ new D.C. stadium named for him.” Okay, can we start with his name on and picture at the bottom of every urinal?

On SNL Weekend Update Colin Jost talks about Donald Trump wishing the royal family well. And wonders if he will send Prince Andrew this birthday card

Trump tonight pardoned almost everyone, including Rudy Giuliani, who was convicted of trying to overthrow 2020 election.

1. Does this seem like a man who ever wants to leave White House?

2. Does this seem like a man who will honor the few concessions GOP made to reopen goverment?

As Trump lies & says US will soon begin paying down National Debt, U.S. government’s gross national debt hit $38 trillion in October: “The fastest accumulation of trillion dollars in debt outside of COVID-19 pandemic. US hit $37 trillion in gross national debt in August..

Anyone who agrees to a 50 year mortgage has never read the story of Sisyphus.

Kynect, Pennie, Covered California, MNsure, Georgia Access, Nevada Health Link, Healthcare .gov All of these ARE the ACA/Obamacare Wonder how many Americans using Obamacare have no idea they are on it.

So what will the eight Senators who voted to reopen the government say when Trump ignores some or all of the the compromise deal struck and their GOP colleagues do nothing?

While our national debt soars, today Trump again is waving around the idea about $2000 checks to Americans from tariffs.

It all makes sense if you remember what Amy Klobuchar referred to as “a bombshell a day.” And it’s ALL distraction #ReleaseTheEpsteinFiles

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent today attacked ABC’s George Stephanopoulos for calling Republicans “terrorists” during 1995 government shutdown. Has Bessent listened to what his boss Donald calls Democrats?

If you can make it there..

Wilmer Flores with his sixth home run of the season Saturday in New York’s Yankee Stadium

Who does he think he is? Arson Judge?

Baseball taketh away and then giveth.

If you’re an SF Giants fan who had no fun watching the Giants Yankees game today, a 4-8 loss, other than Wilmer’s great day , the Dodgers Cubs game might have made up for it. (And 0-16 loss. Not a typo)

The NBA regular season ends today. April 13. Which means we are only 2 months and 9 days from a potential NBA finals game 7.

Donald Trump got Bucharest to give the Tate brothers, their confiscated passports back so they could leave the country.

The Tate brothers face civil and criminal claims in the UK, US and Romania.

But he can’t get his good buddy in El Salvador to release a innocent man? Two words. Yeah. Right.

So in Donald’s world El Salvador is a proud and sovereign nation.

But Greenland and Canada are not?

So smartphones are excluded from the tariffs? Someone told Velveeta Voldemort that Americans “screwing in little screws” wasn’t going to happen.

But doubling the price of Americans’ iPhones was going to screw the GOP.

Either that or “Tim Apple” more than doubled his donation to Trump.

Velveeta Voldemort is now selling “Gulf of America” hats for $47 Because 49.8% of Americans absolutely voted last year that chase, corruption and higher prices were worth it to rename maps?

Marco Rubio’s grandfather was ordered deported because he entered the United States without a visa and had worked for Castro government. The cruelty, and the hypocrisy, is the point.

Karoline Leavitt keeps talking about Trump’s “incredible stamina and work ethic.” As Velveeta Voldmort heads to Mar-A-Lago for yet another golf weekend. He hasn’t stayed in DC ONCE since his inauguaral.

Egg prices skyrocketing again.

Tequila, Mexican beer & avocados (90% grown in Mexico) prices are going up.

Fireworks, costumes & Christmas decorations (all made in China) prices are going up.

Trump is starting a war on Easter, Cinco de Mayo, 4th of July, Halloween & Christmas!

The best of teams the worst of teams.

Dodgers are now 8-0 after a comeback win against the lowly (0-7) Atlanta Braves.

Max Muncy “It feels like this clubhouse is carrying a little bit of the attitude we had last year that we’re never out of a game and we’re resilient, and we’ve been carrying it into this season… the guys don’t give up. Bad things have happened, and no one’s really been down or out.”

“Resilence?””

Because we know that our competitive balance tax payroll will be estimated $393.75 million?? Before trades.

(about as much as the bottom five MLB payroll team put together)

Meanwhile, speaking of the bottom teams.

The former Oakland As , and probably future Las Vegas As just finished their home opening series against the Cubs.

They lost three games 3-18, 4-7 and 2-10.

It’s a minor league ballpark. And they are doing their best to play like a minor league team.

On the other hand, the team refused to put “Sacramento” in their name. Which these days the city of Sacramento has to feel pretty good about. At least their AAA team (the rivercats) is respectable.

Amy Klobuchar tonight w/ Lawrence O’Donnell “tourism is down 70% from Canada.” “People are pissed off.” Sen. Klobuchar doesn’t usually use that phrase, but Canadians don’t normally get that pissed off.

Wonder why Fox News viewers act brainwashed? Donald Trump wandered off the stage today and had to be reminded to sign his tariff executive orders.

What’s the Fox headline? “Top Biden aide describes ‘out of it’ president before Trump debate.”

Well well Yes the House is recalcitrant at best. But four GOP Senators actually stood up to Trump on tariffs on Canada.

– It’s a start.

So the President’s top campaign donor may be leaving DOGE and Donold’s inner circle. Would we say Elon’s being thrown not under the bus but under the Cybertruck?

People do sometimes vote for higher taxes to get a fairer systems. And I get it, if you’re comfortably off it’s easier. But many Trump voters voted purely for their own self-interest. They’re about to find out “A tariff is a tax.” is not just a Democratic talking point.

Meanwhile, coming soon to the GOP House Circus – new representative Randy Fine. Who won a Florida deep red district by about half the margin Trump had.

GOP Ron DeSantis said he nominated Fine for FAU president because “he repelled people in the (GOP led) state legislature. They wanted to get him out of the legislature, so they asked me to put him up for Florida Atlantic president”

Pass the popcorn.

Decisions decisions…

RIP Fay Vincent. Was he the last MLB commissioner?

Jimmy Butler has (reportedly) said he would not sign an extension if he was traded to the Golden State Warriors. Which might be the best news Warriors fans have had all year.

(Who wouldn’t want a complete spoiled brat who’s gotten his own team to suspend him three times this year already?

Dallas Mavericks inexplicably traded their 25 year old superstar Luka Doncic.

Your reminder, the current majority Mavs owner, Miriam Adelson, is one of Donald Trump’s biggest donors, almost in Elon Musk’s league. She was seated behind Bill Clinton at the inaugural.

#ETTD

Happiest person in Dallas about the Doncic trade has to be Jerry Jones. For at least a little while he won’t be the most hated owner in Texas.

“Canada has been very abusive of the United States for many years.” So who had trying to start a war with our neighbor to the north on their Trump batsh*t bingo list?

After illegally installing two SCOTUS judges & keeping Trump from being convicted on his second impeachment trial, Mitch McConnell now is speaking out against Donald. If he wants to do anything useful he should get GOP colleague or two to vote against Kash Patel. For starters.

I like her style.

Chrystia Freeland, Canada’s former finance minister & Liberal party possible future Prime Minister, has proposed slapping 100% tariffs on select American goods, including Teslas.

On United flight approaching SFO today, suddenly started ascending again. Pilot said Air Traffic Control decided we didn’t have enough “separation” between us & plane in front. Circled & landed w/o incident about 15 min later. Thinking a lot of nervous ATC folks these days.

Trump’s tariffs are direct violation of trade deal HE signed with Canada and Mexico. Guess we shouldn’t be shocked. As a businessman who broke most promises he made in private sector & regularly refused to pay contractors, Trump is turning USA into one of his failed businesses.

As Canada releases their first tariff list, it starts out “The list includes products such as orange juice,..” Let’s see, what state produces almost ALL US orange juice.. And it only means about $7 billion a year to the Florida economy.

FAFO

Donald Trump has now started a war of words with the Wall Street Journal… calling the newspaper ‘always wrong.”

A phrase I don’t write very often -sounds like the WSJ editorial board nailed it.

Drugs may be an excuse since Mr Trump has made clear he likes tariffs for their own sake.”

WTAF? Meghan McCain says “To any Senator who votes against Tulsi Gabbard for DNI that “I will make it my personal mission to help campaign and fundraise against you in your next election.” So a generous view of this is that her father taught her well about reverse psychology.

AP Headline

Yesterday’s AP headline: “Bush working on economic turmoil.”

Now that’s one mission he’s accomplished.
