Back to sports, almost
Well, this year’s election gave many of us out of state folks great reasons to root for Texas other than the San Antonio Spurs led by Victor Wembanyama.
But for those who haven’t yet discovered the Wemby show…it’s worth tuning in.

Dear Lisa Murkowski.
If you want to change that “R” after your name to an “I”, many of us Democrats will support your independence… Even if we don’t always agree with y-ou.
It’s a big blue messy tent.

So which “Democrat” is having a (much deserved) worse day?
John Fetterman or Haley Stevens?

JD Vance is trying to distance himself from Donald’s decision to start the Iran war.
But he can’t distance himself from his praise of Vivek’s absolutely despicable ad against Amy Acton.
No matter how he couches it.

Elon Musk’s campaign money failed and blew up in his face more than some of his SpaceEx rockets….

Another little win from last night
Even if Thomas or Alito step down there is no chance Trump now appoints Ted Cruz to the Supreme Court.
Republicans would have to worry about someone like Beto winning Ted’s US Senate seat.
So now that Jon Husted is out of a job as Ohio’s Senator, will Trump find a White House job for the man whose ass he couldn’t stop talking about?

Underreported fact:
There are currently 14 sitting women governors in the United States.
That number will be 18 in January

Love this that I heard last night MS Now.
Some of us live and breathe politics.
But not everyone does, apparently many voters in Ohio polled thought Sherrod Brown was still the incumbent Senator.

NY Times Headline
“Trump Effort to Prove Rampant Noncitizen Voting Leads to Few Charges So Far
Just 236 people have been charged with voting-fraud-related offenses by the Trump administration.”
236? There are more than 236 members of Trump’s orbit in the Epstein files!

Have to think John Cornyn watched those Texas returns and just cackled.

Trump didn’t just blather on about his ballroom after the midterms this morning.
He also blamed state TV
“FoxNews bears responsibility for these losses by constantly and consistently putting on the Dumocrat opposition, and worse.”

Reminder, as much as we’ll miss Amy Klobuchar in the US Senate, early in 2026 it was looking Minnesota was likely a GOP pickup. (Fraud was an issue which GOP exaggerated…. but it was an economic issue that made Dems vulnerable..
Klobuchar running for governor and getting voters enthusiastic not only helped Peggy Flanagan…but helped Democrats actually GAIN seats and get a majority in the Minnesota legislature.)

As a Democrat I’d forgotten what winning felt like.
It feels f*cking good.
