Despite having a fan base that is almost half Latino,

Despite representing Los Angeley where Trump is withholding FEMA and other aid after the fire

Despite being from a state, California where Donald is withholding medicaid and other funding, most of the LA Dodgers and their manager showed up at the White House and gave POTUS a World Series ring

You no longer have to be a SF Giants fan to hate the Dodgers

Tony Romo was arrested on Thursday night in Milwaukee on suspicion of operating a vehicle while he was under the influence.

Reportedly he had finished an amateur golf tournament where he finished 35-over par.

Sounds like his driving was awful enough before he was drinking.

(Although seriously why does ANYONE with Romo’s money from NFL as a QB and now as an NFL analyst not have a personal driver? Or use Uber ALL the time?

Do I care really where LeBron James signed?

No.

Do I miss the days when Lebron’s obsession with publicity for his decisions made him the biggest known ego in the US?

Yes.

Who was more embarassingly servile?

Journalists for showing up at the WHCA dinner?

Or the Dodgers for showing up at the White House?

LA Dodgers are printing money with TV contracts.. And sizeable percentage of their fan base is Latino. (Not to mention about 1/2 of roster is either immigrant, black or brown.)
They couldn’t have just given Trump million dollarbribe & bought their way out of White House visit?

Trump bombed so hard last night at the WHCA dinner amazed he didn’t say he deserved a Novel peace for stopping.

Yes, we all make compromises sometimes to keep our jobs.

But WHCA journalists really hit a new low last night in acting like they needed to attend that dinner to keep theirs.

Snarky but serious question

Supposedly journalists normalize Trump for “access.”

But does access really matter when stories like powerful men raping children don’t get nonstop headlines?

And Watergate level crimes in Donald’s administration happen most days ending in Y?

Alex Pretti’s mother wrote a heartbreaking letter six months after his murder by ICE agents about how there has been no accountability for his death.

We know, however, if he and Renee Good had been killed by an immigrant, even accidentally, GOP would have turned them both into causes.

Random thought

Live your life in a way that hundreds of millions of people don’t wake up each morning hoping to see that you have died.
