The Giants and Yankees actually have a day off after their first game that counts

Presumably due to TV commitments and worries about competition from March Madness.

So this game is basically like those overseas openers, mostly in Japan, that many casual fans never paid attention to…It’s just closer.

Meanwhile the Cincinnati Reds, along with other teams, have a REAL home opener on the 26th

Opening daze

Anyone know how many MLB opening days and nights there are this week?

Instead of some overseas opener, MLB made the SF Giants and New York Yankees play Wednesday night, ONLY on Netflix (and radio)

At 5:05pm – a ridiculous time for fans to try to reach Oracle Park in San Francisco with traffic, and not the traditional day opener the SF Giants prefer. Not to mention that shadows will creep across the field in the late innings, making it hard for hitters to see the ball.

But the Giants are pretending that their real home opener is Friday, a day game. (Plus season ticket holders had to buy tickets for Monday and Tuesday against the “Sulantes” from Mexico.

And Trump claims ICE is at airports to arrest “illegals?”

On top of everything else he’s saying out loud REAL IDS are not acceptable IDs – and thus will not allow US citizen to vote

Well, the High Point Panthers made it a good first day of March Madness for those with cat brackets.

As we head towards “selection Sunday” for the NCAA tournament, especially for the men., have to wonder., with all the one and dones, how many fans are rooting for teams they can’t name a single player on?
