Donald Trump had his motorcade make a 9 minute stop at a furniture store in West Palm Beach on his way back to Mar-A-Lago. Was he looking for a trophy case for all the medals he’s planning to extort? Or given his age & health, did he need a quick potty break?

If MLK Jr’s family offered Trump one of Dr. King’s many awards – maybe his Time Magazine 1963 “Man of the Year” cover, or his Grammy, THEN would Donald issue a Presidential proclamation on MLK day?

Regarding some hotels canceling ICE bookings: Hotels cater to business travelers & tourists, often from out of state or US.
Can’t imagine being hotel guest, regardless of politics, & knowing if you simply run into angry ICE agent (or someone who hasn’t met their quota), on your way to breakfast or ice machine you could be detained or arrested.

Every GOP Senator who thinks that selling their soul to appease Trump will benefit them in the long run should take a long hard look at what happened to Bill Cassidy.

The real reason Trump is endorsing Julia Letlow for Bill Cassidy’s Senate seat: “Letlow has said she would have joined other GOP representatives in objecting to the results of the 2020 presidential election in Congress, had she been in office at the time.”

So Trump is going after GOP Senator Bill Cassidy by endorsing Julia Letlow, who got into Congress when her 41 yr-old husband died of COVID. I know some have tried, but maybe it’s worth revisiting a conversation about US Senate run with former Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards?

Some Republicans want a bill to require Americans to have a passport to vote.
As a believer in voting rights I think this is wrong.
But most Americans with passports are Democrats. As my late great Stepmother used to say “humanity survives in large part because criminals are stupid.”
