Kristi Noem’s DHS said Padilla did not initially identify himself as senator & wasn’t wearing Senate security pin. However, footage captured by Fox News shows him saying, “I’m Senator Alex Padilla, have questions for the secretary,” as he was taken out of room then taken down and handcuffed.

Kristi Noem had U.S Senator Alex Padilla physically attacked and thrown out of her Press Conference just for trying to ask a question. Given Noem’s history when she is annoyed at behavior I guess Padilla is lucky she didn’t shoot him.
