Seeing some of these social security stories from many of us who’ve been paying in since we were teens reminds me of guy I dated ONCE Freshman year.
He was going to go skiing at Christmas, asked what I was doing. Said I was going home, would see friends but would do a lot of waitressing. His response “Why? Just ask mom & dad for money.” Wonder how many of these DOGE types who want to slash social security ever had a job in high school?
