-As an SF Giants fan whose team was at one point the worst in baseball hitting with RISP, must admit I felt for Minnesota Twins fans tonight. Winning run on 2nd and/or 3rd in 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th. And still managed to lose in 13 to the 100 loss Marlins.

Stanford supposed to fly to South Carolina to play Clemson on Saturday. Since it’s all charter planes anyway for football teams why doesn’t Clemson just come to California? We have a perfectly good stadium and sunshine this weekend.

For days forecasters have been saying Helene could be biggest hurricane EVER in parts of Florida, even inland. And reports are many people haven’t evacuated since hurricanes were never problem before. Maybe if Deathsantis hadn’t banned using term “climate change” in Florida.

As Hurricane Helene bore down upon Florida, Joe Biden has already (2 days ago) approved federal disaster relief, unconditionally, without threats or attacks on a state that didn’t vote for him. It’s so nice having a President.

(Got the the usual bots & trolls attacking me on social media for pointing out that Biden was helping Florida… many of them made comments like “well, it’s bare minimum,” or “how could you make it political.” Did they forget or not see that Trump says he will withhold disaster aid from California?)

Reports from a couple Florida friends that Ron DeSantis didn’t make toll roads free today in Florida ahead of Hurricane Helene. If true, evacuees will have insult added to injury by having to pay for their escapes. And would be very on brand.

Has FLORIDA RESIDENT Donald Trump said one positive thing or even written a message of hope for his state during one of their worst hurricanes ever?

Fox News and other right wing media were all over Kamala Harris wearing an $800 pair of earrings at the DNC. For some reason they seem to have missed that Donald Trump is hawking $100,000 watches.
