Due to bad weather in the San Francisco Bay Area delaying and canceling flights it took some media folks longer to fly to Las Vegas, normally about 90 minutes, than it took others to drive (by car it takes about 8 hours)  Normally the only thing that wastes an entire day at a time this week involves a Super Bowl pre-game show.

So now that the flag football is out of the way, what’s the NFL going to do to keep getting headlines the rest of the week?

And for $7,000 and up a ticket do attendees at least get a download of all the commercials?

How upset must Donald Trump be about King Charles III having cancer? All the speculation on the type of cancer will be taking attention away from HIM.

(Yes, I was being snarky. but Donald’s all-caps Truth Social post did talk about Charles, “who I got to know very well….”)

So if Texas secedes how quickly can the rest of the country limit how many Texans cross our USA border?

Has Trump called the Border Patrol Union RINOs yet?

How many Senators, including GOP leaders, spent how many hours on negotiating a bill Republicans said they wanted? And how many of their staffers probably gave up nights and weekends to get it done. Only for GOP to turn around and say, “Just kidding.”

Our allies are already despairing of us with GOP controlling House and Trump controlling MAGA Mike Johnson?

But why should ANY American trust anything any Republican politician says ever again.

Hey Senate GOP.

1. Trump lost last time, if he loses again he won’t have much power over you.

2. IF he wins, he will make your lives hell and eventually throw you under the bus anyway. So why not grow a spine and do the right thing?

Jim Jordan says “Let American people decide’ on border bill in Nov.

WIll someone ask Gym on camera if border is a crisis, why wait 9 months before trying to solve it?

And since GOP is saying “We’ll do nothing until election,” basically abdicating their jobs, can we cut off their pay until Nov?

So if the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor in December 1941 with today’s House GOP in charge would they have said, well, we’re going to have to wait until the next election to respond because we don’t want to make FDR look good?

Stephen Colbert on Trump saying he thinks he can flip New York and New Jersey. “There is no way on earth Trump is flipping those states. Though I can think of one thing voters in New York and New Jersey would be willing to flip him.”
