Lost in the insanity of the last four minutes of Bills-Ravens game. Buffalo got ball at their own 27 with 25 seconds left in first half. No time outs. And Josh Allen got them, (pass, spike, pass) downfield for FG where review had to prove there was 1 second left.
(And it didn’t even take a defensive F*up like the one that caused the “Minnesota Miracle” vs. New Orleans

So of course the first game the SF Giants lost in the past two weeks in truly awful fashion happens to be a blown win for Justin Verlander…
As competitive as he is, what about Justin Verlander trying the closer role for SF Giants next year?
Or late inning(s) of a tie game. Could pick up a win or more that way too. 🙂

Didn’t seem to matter on a national level that New York City elected a man now indicted for multiple felonies as their current mayor. Why should it matter if NYC elects a democratic socialist this time? We have more important issues to argue about.
