Almost turning the page

December 31, 2025

USC, in leaving for the Big Ten, was probably the single biggest driver in destruction of the Pac 12. So guessing a whole lot of West Coast fans- Stanford, Cal, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Utah, etc are quite happy that TCU won the Alamo Bowl tonight.

Meanwhile from SI.com power rankings:

20. New Orleans Saints (6–10)

Last week’s ranking: No. 23
Last week’s result: beat Titans, 34–26
This week: at Falcons

I have begun my campaign to allow the Saints to be in the playoffs instead of the Buccaneers or Panthers. Tyler Shough in prime time? Who says no? “

Instead of flu shot Dr Oz says people should eat healthy food & get plenty of sleep. I’m sure struggling working parents will get right on that.

Espec w/ SNAP cuts.

(Not fan of Senator John Fetterman, who won his Senate seat over Oz, but it could be worse.)

Again, Trump is threatening to sue Fed Chair Jerome Powell, who HE appointed, over the cost of central bank renovations going up from $1.9 billion to $2.5 billion While Donald’s own ballroom has more than doubled in estimated cost… Math has a liberal bias.

If Americans are so happy that Trump put his name on the Kennedy Center why are so many artists cancelling performances? And why aren’t other top artists lining up to perform in their place?

So the Kennedy Center is not just hemorrhaging bookings, they aren’t getting any new bookings either? May I suggest a Lara Trump residency? She can have special guests like Kid Rock and Erika Kirk…

It’s the John F. Kennedy MEMORIAL Center. There are many memorials in DC to Presidents, of both parties, but has anyone pointed out to Donald Trump that all the Presidents with buildings named after them are dead?

Trump’s first veto of his second term kills a UNANIMOUS bill to fund a major drinking water project in Colorado.

He’s mad that Colorado won’t release a convicted felon from prison who tried to help him steal the 2020 election.

And the project is in Lauren Boebert’s district. Even GOP voters pay the price for Donald’s pettiness. (Now will Thune and Johnson have the cojones to bring the bill up again to override Trump’s veto?
