Note, yes, I’m a big New Orleans fan, of the city and the Saints. What happened last night was horrible.

As were John Kennedy’s insulting joke aimed at NBC and accusations towards the FBI at the press conference about 12 hours after the attack. And Governor Landry’s attempting to politicize the massacre the murder is pretty deplorable too.

But if the Saints were playing at home this weekend and had a chance to sneak into the playoffs, Who Dat fans would be there. And New Orleans is well acquainted with gallows humor.

So, in that spirit… .carrying on.

USC- who dragged UCLA with them, started the destruction of the Pac 12. The league might have survived had Oregon and Washington not left next. If you’re a former Pac 12 fan looking for a Schadenfreude silver lining to this Rose Bowl.
