Shirley Chisholm would have been 100 years old today. My dad took me to meet her in Ann Arbor in 1972 when she ran for President. Impressive woman. He told me someday we’d have a woman President & someday a black President, but the first wouldn’t be both. He was sadly right so far on the last two.
