A game of inches…
Matt Chapman, 31, just signed a six year $151 millon contract with the SF Giants. Based on the last six years, let’s hope it doesn’t mean he always gets Octobers off.

SF Giants won today on a walk-off ground rule double. Which made them 2 for 14 with RISP.
Again, maybe we need to be realistic and call them Runners in Stranding Position.

–
J.D. Vance actually said that parents who can’t afford childcare should have their grandparents watch the children? And while they’re together have Grandma and Grandpa and the kids eat cake?

But, of course, the radical right wants to do away with social security, meaning these built-in child care-providing grandparents will be out in the work force along with the parents (and for longer stretches since Repubs also want to raise the retirement age). But you can’t expect the GOP to keep track of their own agendas.
