Two-time defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces tonight lost 93-90 to the lowly Dallas Wings, despite 42 points from their superstar A’ja WIlson.
Bad news for the Aces, but good news for WNBA fans…. as the story is the lead on ESPN website tonight.

If the season ended today, while the NY Yankees and Baltimore Orioles would make the playoffs, the other two wild card spots in the AL, along with the division win, would go to to some combination of the Kansas City Royals, the Cleveland Indians and the Minnesota Twins.
All three of them with a combined payroll less than about $20 million more than the Yankees.

If Kamala Harris and Tim Walz want a bipartisan issue that would pick up some occasional voters, maybe they should consider an executive order to require MLB to use robot umps- or at least challenges- for balls and strikes.
