Made it to the last Bay Bridge series game today in Oakland between the As and the SF Giants.
Will say that while I feel for die-hard baseball fans in Oakland, when they started doing “The Wave” in the late innings at the game today, I felt a little less sympathetic.
True story from 1989, when Candlestick Park started shaking before game 3, my initial thought was “bleeping As fans doing their bleeping Wave in our park..”

So yes, the Miracle Mets 40-120 record is reachable.
