But seriously, fine, if robot home plate umpires aren’t ready to call balls and strikes, how about one or two challenges a game? Why should someone strike out or walk on a pitch everyone but the umpire knows he missed.

Disagree with Ohio GOP Governor Mike DeWine on most things. But he is a decent human being -reminds me a bit of Rob Portman. And just called a special session of the legislature to get President Biden on ballot in Ohio

Senate hearings matter. In 2023 Variety wrote “Must be emphasized it is not Congress that can break up alleged monopolies — but is DOJ, which is currently looking into matter.”

Have to think testimony in the Senate hearing chaired by Amy Klobuchar, where even Mike Lee was in agreement, plus bipartisan outrage in hearing prodded DOJ to act.
