SF Giants were up 6-2- four runs with 1 out in the bottom of the 9th Tuesday and lost 7-6 in 10 innings
Pittsburgh Pirates were up 5-0 today in the 4th, and 5-4 with two outs and nobody on in the 9th. And they lost – 9 to 5 in 10 innings.

Except this time at least the game was an equal opportunity heartbreaker…
Guessing for game three Thursday NOBODY turns the game off early.

Caitlin Clark has had a good but not great start to the WNBA, and while her Indiana Fever came close, they lost today 85-83 to the Seattle Storm to start the season 0-5.
But for all those casual fans criticizing Clark for not making her previously awful team good… uh, Wemby was a unanimous Rookie of the Year and the San Antonio Spurs needed a good last month to be only the 4th worst team in the NBA.

Democratic Senate is confirming Biden’s 200th judicial nomination today. 200 judges. If Mitch McConnnell were majority leader, many would have been blocked – including Ketanji Brown Jackson. If you didn’t already know we need to work hard to keep the Senate blue.
