Tommy Tuberville, keeping his ridiculous holds in place, says it will only take two hours to confirm each nomination. Now, I agree the Senate takes too many days off. But okay, Coach, do the math. Over 350 nominations. 350 x 2 hours is 700 hours. 20 hours a day for a over a month. With no weekends.

Even GOP Senators have had enough of Tuberville’s antics. Actually quoting Lindsey Graham “every single one of us can find something we disagree with the administration on, these military leaders have nothing to do with it.” Come on McConnell, do your damn job & rein Tommy in.

Tuberville made a point of lying tonight on Senate Floor that he never referred to military leaders whose careers he is holding up as “desk jockeys.”

Meanwhile President Biden went with Agriculture Secretary Tom VIlsack to Minnesota to talk about what his adminstration was doing for rural America.
Apparently it went well. But no real media coverage. And Joe was in Northfield, Minnesota. Imagine if he had said something about being in say, Northport (which is in Wisconsin)?
THAT would have been national news.
