Wisconsin legislators are working on a bipartisan spend more than $500 million in public money to help cover repairs at Milwaukee Brewers stadium. The stadium opened as Miller Park in 2001. A year after the SF Giants opened Pac Bell Park. So it’s only 22 years old. But sounds like the facility is aging like fine beer.

Elise Stefanik praised Jim Jordan today, and even brought up his past “on the wrestling mat.” (no joke)

Stefanik has a young child. I want reporters to start asking these cult members on camera how they’d feel towards someone in a position of responsibility who ignored abuse happening to THEIR children.

Meanwhile in the banana republic that Florida has become: Former pres of New College paid $305,000. But Ron Desantis put a crony in charge, raised base pay to $699,000 – $1 million with perks and benefits. Now they may raise it to $1.5 million. New College has 698 students.

Rachel Maddow pondered last night if House of Representatives under Jim Jordan’s leadership would “ever certify results of election in which Trump ran.”

Doesn’t get talked about but our democracy was so lucky Chair of Senate Rules on January 6, (before Ossoff and Warnock became Senators) was GOP’s Roy Blunt. Blunt is conservative but a very decent man. He worked with Amy Klobuchar to certify votes at 4am. But Blunt could have said it was too late, and or just refused to return to the Capitol after the insurrection.

Imagine if Chair that day were Ted Cruz.
