High point of tonight’s game for SF Giants fans

Before the great Renel took over as SF Giants announcer there was Sherry Davis, the first woman MLB stadium announcer. She was honored and got to announce the 1993 SF Giants reunion celebration.

After being shut out yesterday by Atlanta Pitchers despite 9 hits and 7 walks (a new MLB record), the NY Mets finally did score 3 runs in the bottom of the 8th last night against the Braves. Mets lost 21-3.

And then Mets got shut out, AGAIN, 6-0 in the second half of a double header. vs the Braves

Note to frustrated SF Giants fans lately. It could be worse.

CNN Headline “Records show Hawaii misjudged wildfire dangers” Sadly MANY states have and are misjudging wildfire dangers. Especially in this summer where we’re seeing insane heat waves and other results of climate change. Those other states have just gotten lucky. So far.

Major campaign issue for John Fetterman against Dr. Oz in PA was that Oz really lives in NJ and voters don’t like obvious liars. So why isn’t this a bigger story that Tommy Tuberville no longer owns property in Alabama and appears to be living in Florida.

No serious injuries or deaths reported after man in southwest Florida waiting room has been charged with flooding a hospital’s emergency rooms after attacking a nurse and stripping off his clothes. I miss the days when #FloridaMan was a punchline and mostly a danger to himself.

Meanwhile in Florida, Ron DeSantis just appointed Roger Gannam to Sixth District Court of Appeal, which may get involved in his battle with Disney. Gannam’s name may not ring a bell, but he defended Kim David, KY clerk who refused to sign marriage licenses for same-sex couples.

Admittedly Hunter Biden has at times profited because of who his father is. But he’s done a lot less damage to this country than George H.W. Bush’s oldest son.

So while all these Republicans are attacking Hunter Biden as a ne’er do well who’d have been nothing without his father’s name, anyone seen any commentary from Meghan McCain?
