So now that the US Women’s team is out of the World Cup guess many right-wingers can go back to not pretending to care about women’s soccer.

Like many long-time volunteers I’ve had friends become judges and they’ve had to stop attending even casual Democratic party summer picnics to avoid the appearance of impropriety. This Clarence Thomas thing is so much worse than most average Americans realize.

As Donald Trump tries to get cases delayed allegedly because he’s too busy, wonder how well it would work for most Americans if they got arrested, even for a minor offense, and told the judge appearing wasn’t convenient for them.

As President Biden sends condolences plus aid, military and otherwise, only imagining in my nightmares what it would be like if Trump were still President during these Hawaii wildfires.

President Biden is helping Maui. Amy Klobuchar & Cory Booker tweeting links to donate to help Maui. Just looked, can’t find any GOP leader or candidate (many have over million followers) expressing support or suggesting ways to help Maui. But if THEIR states have disasters.
