Uh, NY Yankees Jimmy Cordero wasn’t known to be “embattled” – he was having good year. And no details have been released. But he was suspended 76 games for a violation of MLB’s domestic violence policy. Doesn’t exactly sound worthy of sympathy.

Again, one great thing about baseball is that there is usually SOMETHING to cheer about every day. Today, okay, the best thing for SF Giants fans to cheer about was a three run ninth inning for Pittsburgh Pirates to come from behind to beat LA Dodgers.

And curiously enough, writer has odd line including possible senators he thinks should primary Biden- “Even Beto O’Rourke or Amy Klobuchar or Cory Booker or Chris Murphy or Elizabeth Warren would suffice.” Those 4 Senators are the 4 Senators on Biden’s campaign advisory board!

In the midst of all the insanity, and nonstop delayed flights, Had two travel agency clients travel from the West Coast to New York last week who returned July 3, and both of their flights were on time!

The Seattle Mariners, their Monday night opponent were able to fly into San Francisco late Sunday afternoon.

Meanwhile the Mets have Monday off. No, baseball has no East Coast bias.

Well, at least the SF Giants, with about half the payroll, have as many All-Star players this year as the NY Mets

And baseball is a great sport for those who can savor small victories. Yes, the SF Giants lost two of three to the lowly NY Mets. OTOH, the LA Dodgers just lost to the lowlier KC Royals.
