Seven players now have been suspended indefinitely by the NFL this offseason for betting on games in 2022.

Now, the hypocrisy of how important gambling is to football aside, here’s the question I have… Just how STUPID do you have to be to place bets as an NFL player somewhere, and think you won’t get caught?

Trivia for the night. I use the word, “lede” for “bury the lede” in a story.

And realized this week some people think it’s a mistake. Nope “The introduction to a news article is called the ‘lede’ and is usually in the first paragraph as in an essay. The ‘lede’ is a deliberate misspelling of ‘lead’ to prevent confusion in the days when printing was done with lead type.”

For as much fearmongering as some media, especially right-wing media, does, anyone who’s seen pictures of migrants trying to cross knows they often just have clothes on their backs.

Serious smugglers need vehicles or suitcases.

And to drive or fly you need to be US citizen or at least legal visitor.
