Tommy Tuberville presumably spent the weekend and Monday with the Senate off at fundraisers or relaxing after another week of holding the US military hostage. Amy Klobuchar was in Minneapolis with Veterans Affairs Secretary Denis McDonough talking about the bipartisan but Democrat-led PACT Act, passed last year finally to expand health benefits for vets..

And yes, US Senate not in session Monday. And summer break goes from July 31 to Sept 7. Now some Senators are working. But with GOP Senators pulling dangerous stunts of blocking nominees and requiring slow confirmation process, why not cancel days (& nights) off and make them come vote?

Still blows my mind that same GOP who accuse President Biden of trying to overreach his power with executive orders etc, have no problem supporting a man who has indicated past and future desires to be a dictator king.

Does anyone think red states that are going after medical records for trans people and women seeking abortions will stop there? What’s next? Seeking private information on contraception, on fertility treatments (IVF is considered abortion by some)… on what books you buy?

Since out-of-wedlock sex is frowned upon (mostly) in the Bible, imagine if a religious woman AG demanded access to private medical records for men traveling to obtain or mail ordering Viagra.
