Amy Klobuchar was in Minneapolis with Veterans Affairs Secretary Denis McDonough talking about the bipartisan but Democrat-led PACT Act, passed last year finally to expand health benefits for vets..

And yes, US Senate not in session Monday. And summer break goes from July 31 to Sept 7. Now some Senators are working. But with GOP Senators pulling dangerous stunts of blocking nominees and requiring slow confirmation process, why not cancel days (& nights) off and make them come vote?
