House just voted party-line 221 – 213 to overturn DOD policy guaranteeing abortion access to service members regardless of where they’re stationed. And GOP has audacity to complain of military recruitment problems. Why would ANYONE take job where you gave up control of your body?

For all the fear-mongering about immigrants recently, attempted border crossings are DOWN. At their lowest since February 2021.

Another reason GOP is attacking the LGTBQ community. They need Americans to be scared. Where monsters don’t exist, they’ll create the fiction of monsters.

CNN has story of Allegient flight that hit turbulence resulting in multiple injuries. Have to wonder, is all this anti-vax, anti-max, anti-reading etc stuff making people stupid? Simple tip. Flight attendants tell you keep your seat belt on when seated. Keep it on when seated!

Great news in that FDA just approved “Opill,” to be the 1st over-the-counter birth control pill available in United States. Opill should be available early in Jan-Feb 2024. Wonder how long (and with what trumped up reason) it will take GOP in some states to try to ban it?

Shocking, not because it’s good news. And indicates Bidenomics is working.

But sadly these days it’s shocking to see media actually headlining GOOD news.

We need our local newspapers.

After months of deliberation Cooper Davis bill passed Senate Judiciary Committee today, w/ bipartisan support, but with some no votes, which could doom it in Senate. (The bill would require social media companies and other service providers to take a more proactive role in working with federal agencies to fight the sale and distribution of drugs on their platforms..)

Is the bill perfect, probably not? But Amy Klobuchar sums it up correctly; Big Tech includes the biggest, most powerful companies in the world. They have money, and & lobbyists… so they find support, from Senators on both sides of the aisle, to scuttle ANY bill they don’t love.
