Again, one great thing about baseball is that there is usually SOMETHING to cheer about every day. Today, okay, the best thing for SF Giants fans to cheer about was a three run ninth inning for Pittsburgh Pirates to come from behind to beat LA Dodgers.

Joey Chestnut won the July 4 -Nathan’s Hot Dog eating contest, again, this time after a rain delay

Clearly I’m missing something, but how does a hot dog eating contest need to have a rain delay?

Actual NY Times headline: “Republicans Are Divided on Impeaching Biden as Panel Begins New Inquiry.” More accurate headline would have been: “Republicans, fearing they can’t defeat President Biden in 2024, trying to find some excuse to impeach him.”

Politico has an article today as to why Democrats should primary President Biden. Saying it would be good for him and good for the party. More like it would be good for the media, who finds competence and a lack of controversy boring.

And curiously enough, writer has odd line including possible senators he thinks should primary Biden- “Even Beto O’Rourke or Amy Klobuchar or Cory Booker or Chris Murphy or Elizabeth Warren would suffice.” Those 4 Senators are the 4 Senators on Biden’s campaign advisory board!

So if it’s about religious objections, doesn’t that also mean that say, a Jewish business can refuse to do any design for a Jew marrying a Catholic? For starters.

Seeing media stories today about suburban women who claim to be former Democrats now supporting Ron Deathsantis because he reopened schools.

Wonder why reporters aren’t interviewing women who were former Repubicans who now support Biden because he is protecting their rights?

In the midst of all the insanity, and nonstop delayed flights, Had two travel agency clients travel from the West Coast to New York last week who returned July 3, and both of their flights were on time!

This shouldn’t be news… but lately it is. If you’re flying right now, pack patience.
