Left Coast Sports Babe

So while the Midwest and the East Coast see many Olympic marquee events live, on the left coast we end up having to stay up until 1am or later, to see tape-delayed events on NBC that finished 3 hours earlier.

I mean, come on, they don’t tape delay the World Series or the Super Bowl, do they?

Guess I’d better not give the networks any ideas.

The U.S. Basketball Olympic team has become known to Americans as the “Redeem” team. 

As opposed to John Edwards and Joe Lieberman, who have become known to Democrats as the :”Unredeemable” team.

There’s a new cocktail honoring the Chinese women’s gymnastics team.

It’s small, pretty, potent, and makes you feel like a kid again.  But the next morning when you wake up, you feel years older.
